Our principal, Stan Baker JD, DVM, MRCVS, CVA, brings an unusual convergence of disciplines to every engagement. As a chemical engineer, veterinarian, and attorney, Stan combines technical depth with legal precision and a veterinarian's understanding of animal health science. This multidisciplinary foundation is the bedrock of LexVet Advisory's counsel.
Stan most recently served as Head of Global Public Policy at Zoetis — the world's largest pure-play animal health company — where he directed global policy strategy across the US, Europe, and international markets. He partnered with an industry association to reverse statutory bans on key products, protecting over $2 billion in revenue, shaped industry messaging on environmental and regulatory challenges, and built direct relationships with medical, EU, US, and international policymakers.
Prior to his global role, Stan served as Zoetis' Director of Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs, where he pioneered the company's engagement on state-level legislative issues, and drove commercial success as National Veterinary Manager in the United Kingdom.
